Dean A. O’Dell is a classically trained artist specializing in Graphic Arts/Illustration educated at Sheridan College, Canada.At a young age, Dean married his love of Illustration Design continuing his education training at Ryerson University Photographic/Film Arts program.

As an independent filmmaker, Dean worked as Camera Operator and Director of Photography on small independent shorts. Dean eventually turned his ‘eye’ towards the periphery into the world of Production Design and Art Direction.

Dean would then work with several commercial production houses in Toronto, Canada as an independent Production Designer with a wide variety of clients creating regional and national commercials.

Over the past 30 years, Dean has been a Production Designer on around 200+ episodes of one-hour dramas for a wide range of broadcasters including Apple TV, Disney Channel, Sony, Netflix, Amazon Studios, CBC, NBC, Lifetime Television, Ctv, etc.

Dean has provided his Production Design skills for many award winning productions as well as numerous of feature film companies, television companies and commercial studios in Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Regina, Calgary, Winnipeg and Halifax.
